As we go through life, we all have secrets we have to hide
Sometimes, maybe, it's for the protection of someone else
Or it's your own denial of holding on that you know it isn't true
Even though, deep inside your heart, you know lieing hurts more than anything
But, the feeling of shielding everyone from your faults and your mistakes...
It overcomes all that you know that is hurting the other
Yes, secrets could be an up or it could be a down
In the end, it depends on you on what you want to do with that secret
